2. What Data We Process
We process the information submitted through our contact form. Name and email address are required. Organisation name and phone number are optional and do not need to be provided. The form also lets you select which service your enquiry relates to and include a free-text message.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry — for example, to provide a quote, information about a project, or answer any other question you raise.
The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR): we have a legitimate need to process your contact details in order to respond to the enquiry you have submitted. Processing is limited to this purpose.
4. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your data for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which it is deleted unless there is another basis for retaining it (for example, an ongoing client relationship or a legal obligation, such as accounting requirements in case of invoicing).
5. Do We Share Your Data With Third Parties
We do not share your data with third parties for marketing or other purposes.
We use Netlify (Netlify, Inc., United States) to technically operate our contact form; Netlify acts as our data processor. This means data submitted through the form passes through Netlify's infrastructure, which may involve transferring data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on safeguards recognised by the European Commission (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified under it). We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc., United States) for visitor statistics; see section 6 for details. We do not use any other third-party services to process your data.
6. Cookies and visitor statistics
Our website does not use analytics, marketing, or other non-essential cookies. To measure visitor numbers we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. The service does not identify individual visitors or track them across websites. The data collected is statistical: the page opened, the referring site, country, browser and device type. The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest (EU General Data Protection Regulation, Article 6(1)(f)): we have a justified need to know which content interests our visitors. The LinkedIn link on our site is a standard hyperlink and does not set any cookies unless you click it and are taken to LinkedIn.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- request access to your personal data
- request correction of inaccurate data
- request deletion of your data
- object to processing or request that it be restricted
You can exercise these rights by emailing martin.brandt@findera.fi. We will respond to your request within a reasonable time.
If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
