Services

The right solutions, the right sites, the right people.

I help organisations find the solutions, sites and partners in Europe that are genuinely relevant to you — and turn them into concrete encounters and knowledge exchange. Every engagement is tailored to your objective.

Access · Insight · Impact

When you work with FinDera, you get:

Insight

I identify contacts and sites according to your objectives, so that what you learn is comparable, relevant and applicable in practice. I also bring valuable cultural understanding.

Impact

I take the whole towards a shared direction and next steps — decisions, pilots and collaboration.

01 — Site visits and group trips

Site visits and group trips that make a difference

When you want to see and experience the best practical solutions comprehensively on site, and build a shared view for your group.

Trips are designed around your objectives for different kinds of expert and management teams: a tailored programme on a workable schedule, usually with me as tour leader to guarantee a pleasant and rewarding experience.

When you want to see sustainable solutions in practice and build a shared understanding of them, a site visit is the most effective way to learn. The perfect destinations can be found all across Europe. Wherever your ideal location is, I will take you there. Beyond that, I bring specialized, first-hand expertise in Finland, the German-speaking countries, and the Netherlands.

I design the whole so that it is strong in substance and smooth in practice — and so that it also creates valuable connections and shared next steps among the participants themselves.

The package includes

  • Sites chosen around your objectives: the best practical examples and comparable implementations
  • Confirmed meetings and an agenda that supports real exchange — not just a presentation
  • Pacing, facilitation and, where needed, tour leadership and interpreting
  • Coordination of travel logistics and restaurants
  • A good and constructive atmosphere throughout

Who it is for: projects and development organisations (kick-off, engagement), companies and management (benchmarking, groundwork for investment, board and leadership team programmes), and associations and training programmes.

Delivery models

Turnkey

A travel package through my travel agency partner: planning, sites, logistics and tour leadership from a single source.

Programme only

A confirmed programme with everything you need to know — you handle the logistics yourself or with your own travel agency.

What does a group trip cost?

The cost of a group trip can be covered through project or other funding, split into per-participant fees, or invoiced to the client in full.

The price always follows the content and the way the trip is delivered. It depends on the length of the trip and the destination area, the size of the group, the number of site visits, meals and other programme, and whether I travel with you as tour leader. On request, travel logistics — flights, accommodation and coach transfers — can be included as well; the full travel package is then provided by the travel agency partner I work with.

Ballpark €1,200–1,800 + VAT / participant On the three-day trips to Central Europe delivered so far, the total cost has typically been at this level, with travel logistics and my tour leadership included.

Every trip is nevertheless planned as its own package. The right way to deliver it, the content and an initial budget frame are gone through together already in the first conversation.

02 — Door opening and meetings

Door opening and meeting programmes

When you are looking for partners or benchmarks, or planning market entry into Finnish or German-speaking markets.

I identify the right players, arrange the meetings and build a coherent basis for the discussions — so that the exchange produces understanding that advances your work and supports decision-making.

When the aim is to find partners, map out opportunities for collaboration or benchmark solutions to support a decision, I build you a set of meetings where the right people and the right agenda come together.

The package includes

  • Identifying and approaching the right players
  • Agreed meetings and a prepared discussion outline
  • Background briefing and interpreting where needed
  • A summary of the key lessons, contacts and next steps

Typical use cases

  • Finding partners and opening markets, especially in Finland or the German-speaking region
  • Comparing solutions and technologies as a basis for an investment decision
  • A visit programme that supports board and leadership discussions

03 — Mapping and introductions

Mapping and introductions

When you need precise information quickly for your assessment.

Site and partner mapping, shortlists and, where agreed, introductions to the right people — a light way to move forward without a heavy project.

When you do not yet need a site visit or a meeting programme, a survey is the fast and cost-efficient way forward. You get a clear picture of the options, of who is doing what, and of where it is worth putting your effort next.

The package includes

  • Defining the criteria together with you
  • Site and partner mapping across Europe
  • A reasoned shortlist of sites, implementations or partners
  • A recommendation on how to proceed and an assessment of the options
  • One to three introductions to the right people, where agreed

Why FinDera

Encounters that land, lessons that last.

At its best, what a trip yields keeps paying off long after everyone has gone home. Five things set the work apart.

  • 01

    A grasp of the subject

I can connect the themes and find the one site that is genuinely worth visiting. Sustainability, energy, the circular economy and the environment are the core of my work.

  • 02

    Opening doors

I secure meetings with the right people and with the right agenda.

  • 03

    Reliable delivery

A rhythm that works, realistic logistics, smooth running and good group dynamics.

  • 04

    A multi-stakeholder view

It comes from a career spanning the private sector, the public sector and central government.

  • 05

Tour leadership and a good atmosphere

Smooth execution, good spirit, and a trip participants remember.

The hardest work and the real risk are not in the itinerary on paper. They are in the quality of the sites, in getting the meetings confirmed, in a rhythm that holds, and in whether the visits genuinely serve the objective. Get those right and the trip produces insights, contacts and concrete next steps.

How we proceed

Two paths, the same light start

Site visits and group trips

  1. We map the objective and constraints in a conversation or through a needs survey.

  2. I make an offer and propose a delivery model.

  3. After the assignment I confirm the sites and meetings and build a ready-to-run programme.

Meeting programme or mapping

  1. You describe the objective and background by email or through the form.

  2. I make an offer and propose how to proceed.

  3. I carry out the mapping and introductions, or build the set of meetings.
